SBH Disability Service's Speech Pathologists can support children, teenagers, adults and caregivers with:
- Speech: Being able to say sounds correctly has a huge impact on the ability to communicate effectively and be understood. Some people may require assistance in learning and mastering the production of sounds.

Some children may require assistance in developing these skills, and looking at strategies to bypass any ‘roadblocks’ in their language system. Adults may require support to rehabilitate their language skills following an acute injury or event.

Support is available to assist in improving and managing feeding needs, as well as making mealtimes fun and enjoyable again. We also offer mealtime management reviews and plans that can be used in various settings. We also offer feeding groups and workshops to support mealtime skills.
- Cognition: Assisting to learn valuable skills to help with concentration, attention, organisation, and emotional regulation.
- Literacy: Being able to engage with the written word is an enjoyable past-time, as well as an essential skill. Support is available to assist your child through the stages of literacy skill development, and in navigating any difficulties that may arise. Adults may like support with acquiring literacy skills that they can use across their lifespan.
- Voice Therapy: Protect and develop your voice by supporting to speak with clarity and use effective voice hygiene techniques (e.g., adequate water consumption, avoid excessive overuse, etc).
